- Engineering degree or technical education
- Several years of professional experience in the QA of a metalworking production company in the automotive supply industry
- Ideally advanced knowledge in materials science / technology and surface technology and common destructive and non-destructive testing technology
- Comprehensive knowledge of QA systems, tools and methods (e.g., SPC, Ishikawa and 8D)
- Experience in auditing according to VDA, IATF 16949
- Competent, dynamic and solution-oriented internal and external communicator for all QA-relevant issues
- Organizational strength, process professionalism and operational assertiveness
- Extended office knowledge, if possible experienced SAP
- English, spoken and written
Tasks
- Responsible leadership and systematic development of the quality assurance (QA) department including responsibility for the test laboratory as well as the administration / calibration of measuring and test equipment (total 10 employees)
- Budget planning and budget responsibility
- Quality-related interface and representation of the company among customers and suppliers for quality-related issues, initial sampling, complaint handling and audits
- Sustainable stabilization of process quality along the value chain
- Quality planning as well as checking the QSV of the customers
- Evaluate machine capabilities and conduct machine capability studies
- Preparation, implementation and documentation of initial and subsequent inspections as well as parts requalifications in close cooperation with production and sales
- Responsible Production Safety Officer (PSB)
- Application of common quality assurance tools and methods (FMEA, 5S, KVP, SOP) and use of appropriate laboratory and measuring equipment technologies
